More on soldering iron
The one I use is a Weller SP80L. I use a Weller SP40L on the mini-sparkleball.
It spite of the spelling, it is pronounced sawtering iron
You can find soldering irons at hardware stores and at some crafts stores.
Don't leave it unattended. Don't burn yourself. Gloves are a great idea.
